Saskatchewan-born painter and sculptor, David William Opheim, currently resides with his family at the Convent of the Anglican Sisterhood of St. John the Divine, Toronto and at Six Mile Lake, Muskoka, Ontario. David is an Anglican Priest, speaker, author and therapist; however, his art is his most dramatic and passionate means of expression. His under-graduate work was in English Literature and psychology; he furthered his studies by completing a Master of Divinity. In May of 2002 David was appointed the Incumbent (Priest and Pastor) of the Anglican parish St. Andrew By-The-Lake, Toronto Islands, Diocese of Toronto.
